We offer an affordable alternative to medical replacement wigs with finely crafted synthetic pieces. All of our pieces are carefully chosen, field tested by our models for natural appearance, and for ease of care. The majority of the pieces are available for less than $100
Consultations concerning the type and style of wig for an individual's general features, personality, and desires is always at no charge.
We also offer wig modification for those that would like to have a wig fitted and thinned or trimmed to fit your face. Fitting, thinning, trimming is $15.
We offer a select few styles from the thousands of styles on the market. We strive to offer only those pieces that are actually wearable and can be styled into some simple yet elegant styles without excess work. These are wigs to be worn on a daily basis, not party or costume type wigs. We will continue to expand our wig offerings as we discover pieces that work well, we won't simply sell one to make a sale. We want you to look good and really enjoy wearing your new wig.
Tami owns at least one of each of the wigs and models all of them in some sample styles that are actually possible. Simple updo styles are presented in the majority of wigs so that you can see how they look rather than having to guess.
We will list all colors available and give you as many representative pictures of each color so that you can see the nuances in many of them.
As the wig catalog is developed, each wig will have it's own page and pictures of as many styles as possible and as many variations of the colors available. Prior to the development of the complete catalog, please review Tami's site at www.apparentlyfemale.com and make note of the name and color of the wig shown that you might be interested in. Make sure to provide the names when your appointment is established so that the appropriate wigs are available.
